The Town of Killington, Vermont is seeking candidates for Public Works Director.This position requires experience in the development and implementation of capital projects and programs, knowledge of highway and bridge construction, facilities management, purchasing, personnel management and budgeting. The applicant should have a strong understanding of public water and wastewater systems along with the ability to work effectively with FEMA as necessary. A comprehensive understanding of Tax Increment Financing and the capacity to work with outside contractors as well as town staff to implement the vision and goal of the TIF District is preferred. The Town of Killington is offering a starting wage between $85,000 and $95,000 depending on qualifications and a generous benefit package including health, dental and vision insurance, paid holidays and paid vacation time.
