Job Description

Human Resource Information System Analyst researches, analyzes and designs Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and processes to support human resource administration and projects. Serves as point of contact for HR report generation as well as the liaison between Human Resources, Information Systems (IS) and Finance in relation to data accuracy and reporting consistency.Creates basic report parameters and makes them available for internal customers to run as needed. Trains customers in use of reports.Produces ad hoc reports as needed and endeavors to standardize reports for future use.Provides system support, maintenance and reporting for HR systemsAssists in defining terms, monitoring fields for reporting consistency, and determines data management strategies for the HR systems.Meets with users to develop, maintain, produce, and distribute standard and custom reports and queries to include EEO/Affirmative Action, VETS-100 and EEO survey reporting.Assists in the development of new reporting tools to support GFS initiatives and serve GFS customers.Sets up and maintains tables and structures within HR systems.Researches impact of system changes on current HR processes, performs testing scenarios, approves migration from test to production, and makes functionality recommendations for HR systems.Continually monitors information needs and designs new or modifies existing systems to meet changing requirements.Recommends new equipment or new software in support of objectives.Develops user procedures, guidelines and documentation.Serves as liaison with IS staff to resolve programming and related problems.Assists in developing new forms and implementing system enhancements as needed.Performs other duties as assigned.When you will work:Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.Hybrid Work Schedule: 4 days in office, 1 day from home.Three years previous human resources information systems experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Workday experience, knowledge of relational database design, structure and functionality preferred.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human Resources or related field.Knowledge of data mining, query building and report writing a plus. Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, database, presentation, email, internet, document imaging and workflow and HRIS software applications.Maintains knowledge of current industry trends.Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Refers to policies and practices for guidance.Must have excellent written, verbal, organizational and communication skills as well as problem-solving capabilities.Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work independently or within a team environment.Must have good customer service and time management skills.
