Description We are looking for an experienced Event Manager to oversee the planning and execution of a high-profile dermatology conference booth in Los Angeles, California. This role is client-facing and involves managing communication, coordinating activities, and ensuring the successful delivery of event objectives. This is a long-term contract position with part-time hours that will gradually increase as the event approaches. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage client communications to set expectations, address questions, and ensure timely delivery of required assets. u2022 Collaborate closely with the lead producer to support event production and workflow management. u2022 Oversee the creative design and programming aspects of the conference booth, including demos and meet-and-greet sessions. u2022 Coordinate with external agencies handling influencer-related activities. u2022 Represent multiple brands while ensuring alignment with client objectives and event goals. u2022 Monitor budgets and flag any concerns to maintain financial efficiency. u2022 Facilitate internal communication among cross-functional teams to streamline project delivery. u2022 Utilize tools like Google Drive and Slack to organize and track event progress. u2022 Ensure smooth execution of fabrication and build processes by understanding industry terminology. u2022 Provide strategic input to enhance experiential event components and attendee engagement. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in live event management or experiential event planning. u2022 Proven ability to manage client relationships and handle client-facing roles. u2022 Familiarity with fabrication and build processes, including relevant terminology. u2022 Proficiency in tools like Google Drive and Slack for project coordination. u2022 Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple brands and workflows. u2022 Experience in budget management and financial oversight. u2022 Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external agencies. u2022 Knowledge of community engagement and experiential event strategies.
