West Bend metal manufacturing company looking for Laser Operators on 2nd shift! Key duties and responsibilities may include: Perform setups and operations on Bystronic and Mitsubishi CO2 Lasers Check material thickness for accuracy and load material into laser stocker De-nest and remove laser oxide from parts Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations Train others as needed on set-up and operation of Lasers Identify and troubleshoot machine alignment and cut condition problems Other duties as needed/assigned Preferred Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong Laser or CNC operating background Competent at basic dimensional measuring and able to quickly learn the use of precision measurements tools Demonstrated competency in basic shop math Ability to operate a forklift High school diploma or equivalent education Job Specifications: Pay Range: $18-22/hour DOE A $2 shift premium would be added to wage once a direct hire- expected to be trained on 1st shift for a few weeks. 1st shift training: 6am-2:30pm Shift(s): 2nd Hours: 2pm-10pm Why work with Express: Weekly pay and competitive wages!
