Job DescriptionA leading global brand is seeking a Senior Manager of Lounge Design to join its in-house creative agency. This role will lead the design strategy and execution of premium, customer-facing environments, translating brand principles into immersive, high-impact physical experiences. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in commercial interior design, environmental branding, and luxury experience design, with a proven ability to manage complex projects from concept through completion.This is a 40 hours per week, 12+ month contract, hybrid onsite in New York.Senior Manager, Lounge Design Responsibilities:- Drive the creative vision and design strategy for branded physical spaces, ensuring alignment with brand identity and customer expectations.- Oversee all phases of design development from site evaluation and concept creation to construction documentation and post-build support.- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners (architects, designers, agencies) to deliver cohesive, premium experiences.- Manage spatial branding elements including signage, uniforms, and accessories to ensure consistency across touchpoints.- Provide strategic updates and planning support to stakeholders in product, operations, and real estate.- Participate in cross-functional meetings to maintain alignment and momentum across projects.Senior Manager, Lounge Design Qualifications: - Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial interior design, environmental brand design, or related fields.- Strong portfolio showcasing leadership in luxury and branded environment design.- Expertise in space planning, design principles, and construction processes.- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical documentation.- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate design narratives and influence stakeholders.- Proven track record managing multiple large-scale projects within budget and timeline.- Bachelor's degree in design, architecture, or a related discipline.- Experience working within large companies or enterprise environments.- Willingness to travel up to this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information.
