JOB REQUIREMENTS•Must be 18 years of age or older.•Must pass a drug test•Current valid drivers’ licenseDUTIES•Assists driller in drilling operations •Setting up of drill, and other related equipment•Setting casing•Handling drill rods going into and out of the bore hole.•Assisting with equipment maintenance and repair.•Cleaning equipment and keeping work area clean and free of debris.•Mixing drill mud•Maintaining water source or source of lubricants (i.e. water lines and supply pumps)•Moving supplies and equipment•Using tools, equipment and machinery including pickups, pipe wrenches, fall protection system and other safety equipment •The employee is regularly required to stand, bend and twist, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, talk or hear, and reach above the shoulder with hands and arms.•The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, walk and sit.•The employee regularly performs repetitive work involving use of hands and wrists.SKILLS AND ABILITIESoAbility to speak clearly to others and understand directions givenoAbility to understand and carry out detailed, written and oral instructions and directionsPHYSICAL DEMANDSoThe employee must frequently lift and/or move 40 to 50 pounds and occasionally with help up to 100 pounds.oHearing is essentialoThe employee is frequently required to walk on uneven or slippery surfacesoGood eye to hand coordination is essential.oThe employee is regularly required to climb a ladder and or a derrick.oProper safety procedures required.oAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos.
