*Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 2nd shift from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday. This role involves performing preventative and reactive maintenance on industrial production equipment, with a focus on ensuring optimal functionality and safety. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on industrial production equipment. + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical (up to 480V), pneumatic, and automation systems. + Work with control systems, pumps, motors, HMIs, PLCs, palletizers, box makers, and refiners. + Support operators with setups, adjustments, and changeovers. + Conduct equipment rebuilds, welding, and fabrication as needed. + Maintain accurate documentation in CMMS and communicate issues across teams. + Follow GMP, HACCP, and sanitation protocols. + Keep tools and work areas clean and organized. + Participate in required safety and technical training. + Work in high-temperature environments (100–120°F) and around strong odors. + Lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks independently with minimal supervision. **Essential Skills** + Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a production setting (food or beverage preferred). + Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical systems (480V), automation, and mechanical components. + Experience using CMMS and maintenance inventory systems. + Ability to read manuals, schematics, and line diagrams. + High attention to detail and safety awareness. + Diploma or GED required. + Self-motivated with a proactive, team-oriented mindset. + Comfortable working with compressors, water heaters (no boilers), air lines, and 3-phase motors. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with VFD, conveyors, food production, weld, motors, PLC troubleshooting, automation systems, pneumatic systems. + Knowledge of GMP compliance, HACCP knowledge, and motor and pump repair. + Ability to perform equipment rebuilds and fabrication. **Work Environment** Our facility operates 24/7, maintaining high standards for quality chocolate production. Due to the industrial machinery, expect a hot environment as chocolate is melted and tempered continuously. Technicians have their own shop equipped with all necessary tools, including a workbench and welding machine. Uniforms are provided, and a locker is assigned for personal use. No jewelry, fake lashes, fake nails, or heavy scents are allowed. Must be comfortable with computers for data entry and work order management. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of American Canyon, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $33.00/hr.
