Immediate opening for a Principal Hardware Engineer in Salem, NH who possesses: -12+ years (or expert level) experience working with Siemens (e)Xpedition, DxDesigner -FPGA experience required -Experience working at an mil-aero company or aerospace experience-Experience working as a consultant and/or has access to lab equipment such as oscilloscope, bench power supplies and a soldering station. Email resumes to jgarcia@ or call 858.279.4902.   FULL DESCRIPTION: The selected candidate will be responsible for: -Apply independence and creativity to drive project design scope and deliverables-Develop Functional Design Specifications-Circuit design: Digital, Analog, and Power-PCIe, DDR, Microprocessor, DSP, etc.-I2C, SPI, PCIe, DDR3+, Ethernet, USB, CSI, DSI, etc.-Analog/RF experience is a plus.-BLE and/or WiFi experience a plus.-Schematic Capture and Layout Review/Guidance/Management. Layout experience preferred.-Pre&Post Signal and Power Integrity analysis (optional)-FPGA and CPLD design (Verilog, VHDL)-FPGA test benches and verification (ModelSim, Xilinx, Altera, etc.)-Develop test plans/methods to ensure product reliability and performance targets are met-Prototype bring up and system integration-Working knowledge of EMC/CE/UL compliance requirements-Software and Firmware development The selected candidate will also possess: -12+ years of experience-BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.-Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).-Expert user of one or more of the following tools: Siemens DxDesigner (preferred), Altium, OrCad, and DxDesigner.
