Job Title

Responsible for assisting the Director in the overall maintenance of the Pre-School classrooms.Orients teachers, assistant teachers, student teachers, and volunteers to the program. Responsible for the program at all times.Assists teachers in the writing of children’s progress reports, daily cleaning of the classrooms, and the development of lesson plans. Responsible for the supervision and evaluation of teachers and assistant teachers, which must be reviewed by the Program manager. Meets with parents, works with specialists, supervises teachers, develops curriculum, and assists in any administrative tasks as requested by the Program Manager.Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age preferred.Must have at least two (2) years of experience in a preschool setting.Some supervisory skills are preferred.An AA or BA in Early Childhood Education is preferred.Ability to work independently in a multi-cultural setting.Must be an Office for Children (OFC) Lead Teacher certified.C.O.R.I. and S.O.R.I.
