Express Employment is hiring an Electromechanical Field Technician! Are you ready to put your technical, electromechanical, and customer service skills to work in a dynamic, hands-on role? This position offers up to $40/hour, plus paid travel time. Location: U.S. and international (extensive travel required) We’re seeking a motivated, self-driven, and team-oriented Field Service Technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Do Serve as the primary contact for customers, providing technical support and troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, and programming issues. Diagnose and resolve customer equipment problems — balancing customer satisfaction with company resources. Travel across the U.S. (and internationally) to install, service, and support company products. Coordinate and ship parts, manage returns, and communicate with vendors and suppliers. Train customers on proper use and maintenance of equipment. Document work, communications, and service reports in CRM/ERP systems. Contribute to safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. What You’ll Bring Required: Authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship or international travel limitations). Basic to moderate computer skills; ability to use business systems for inventory, parts, and reporting. Strong mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving skills. Excellent oral and written communication; professional and composed under pressure. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently. Willingness to work extended hours and travel frequently, sometimes on short notice. Preferred: Technical degree or post-secondary training in engineering or a related field. Experience in customer or field service roles, especially with mechanical or electrical systems. Familiarity with Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or similar methods.
