Job DescriptionOur client, a luxury event company, is looking for a Senior Event Project Manager to join their team full time starting as soon as identifiedIn order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be able to work onsite in Manhattan 5 days per week as well as onsite at event spaces as needed.As the Senior Event Project Manager, you will be leading the planning and execution of high-profile events, including milestone celebrations, luxury weddings, and private parties. The Senior Project Manager is a strategic thinker with a meticulous eye for detail, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of full-scale event production.The Senior Event Project Manager will be responsible for: - leading cross-functional teams in the end-to-end planning and execution of complex events- managing client relationships with professionalism and precision, ensuring satisfaction from concept to completion- overseeing logistics, vendor coordination, and contract negotiations, including multi-million-dollar agreements- developing and managing Run of Show (ROS) and Production Schedules from pre-production through on-site execution- ensuring all events are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with insurance, legal, health, and safety standards- conducting thorough pre- and post-event evaluations to drive continuous improvement - troubleshooting challenges on event day with a calm, solutions-oriented approachREQUIREMENTS: - 4+ years experience with large scale events and luxury productions - outstanding time management and communications skills - strong attention to detail while managing several projects at once- skilled in vendor research, negotiation, and relationship management - proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with relevant production and event technologies In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
