Morris Adjmi Architects D.P.C. seeks an Interior Designer in New York, NY. Job duties include: Design and develop interior design projects from concept through documentation. Oversee documentation for all phases of interior design projects, including models and renderings. Direct and lead the preparation of client design presentations, including selecting conceptual images, generating 3D views, and rendering elevations. Develop FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) packages and material selections, and present selections to clients for approval. Review RFIs (Requests for Information), prepare response submissions, and maintain proper RFI and submittal logs.Candidates must have at least a Masteru2019s degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Adaptive Reuse, or a related field and at least 6 months of professional experience working in interior design. Must have at least 6 months of experience working on all phases of the interior design process, including production and schematic design. Must have at least 6 months of experience developing initial design concepts and themes, and selecting furniture and appliances according to design specifications. Must have at least 6 months of experience coordinating with vendors to source material samples, negotiate pricing, and monitor lead times. Must have at least 6 months of experience conferring with clients and assisting with installations of materials, furniture, and finishes.
