LPN Shreveport, LA 71105 Posted: 12/05/2024 Industry LPN Job Number: 108 Pay Rate: $28 - $30/hr Job Description Job Duties: Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing basic IV therapy, and assisting with procedures Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and symptoms Implement infection control measures to prevent the spread of diseases and maintain a safe environment Provide care and support for infants and neonates, including feeding, diapering, and monitoring vital signs Assist with neonatal ventilator management and provide respiratory support as needed Perform suturing and wound care as directed by healthcare providers in some facilities Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families on various topics such as nutrition, exercise, and medication management Assist with coding and documentation of patient encounters Manage airways in emergency situations and provide immediate interventions as necessary Collaborate with behavioral health professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients with mental health conditions in some facilities.
