Visit us here to learn more about u200bAccenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects ( THE WORK: + Youu2019ll perform power systems analysis such as short circuit duty analysis, capacity analysis, reliability, protection, voltage impact and power factor studies. + Youu2019ll analyze distribution power systems (radial systems) for voltage impacts, harmonics, or overloading issues using power flow software (i.e. CYME or PSLF). + Youu2019ll evaluate various load profiles to determine acceptable penetration level of distributed generation at different locations in existing distribution network. + Youu2019ll determine overhead and underground cable sizes and types based on ampacities, circuit topology, mutual heating effects, etc. + Youu2019ll develop scope and design projects based on assessments associated with power system analysis, planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of distribution networks. + Youu2019ll review and identify mapping discrepancies and update electrical maps and drawings. + Youu2019ll review and analyze Rule 21 applications for interconnecting generation. + Youu2019ll perform technical reviews to identify how the project can be interconnected to the utilityu2019s electrical grid in a safe and reliable manner while complying with all applicable standards and regulations. + Youu2019ll assist in validating ADMS applications by performing functional and performance testing under various grid scenarios. + Youu2019ll support acceptance testing and model validation activities for ADMS projects, ensuring accurate system configurations. + Youu2019ll perform power system analysis using ADMS tools such as DPF, BLA, LVM, and FLISR to evaluate operational performance. + Youu2019ll participate in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and simulation-based testing to verify feeder automation logic and restoration workflows. + Youu2019ll contribute to optimization of ADMS functionalities including FLISR, Volt/VAR control, CVR, and DER integration under guidance from senior engineers. + Youu2019ll analyze test results and document findings to identify potential improvements and ensure compliance with operational standards. + Youu2019ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and support deployment of advanced distribution automation solutions. + Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center. $70,000 - $75,000 a year Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
