(For a Nursing home)u003c/pu003eu003cpu003eCCHT (Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician) is required.u003c/pu003eu003cpu003eResponsibilities:u003c/pu003eu003culu003eu003cliu003eResponsible for assisting patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.u0026 u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eCTs are responsible for monitoring patients' vital signsu003c/liu003eu003cliu003eResponsible for administering medications to patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse or physician.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eResponsible for assisting patients with transfers and mobility, including using patient lifts and transferring patients to and from wheelchairs.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eResponsible for communicating with patients and their families, providing emotional support, and answering questions or concerns they may have.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eReporting any changes in patients' conditions to a registered nurse or physician.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eAssisting with the educating of patients' relatives regarding the required care.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eAssists in the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment.u003c/liu003eu003c/ulu003eu003cpu003eProvides safe, effective delivery of age specific patient care in compliance with standards outlined in the facility procedure manual, as well as regulations set forth by the company, state and federal agencies.u003c/pu003eu003cpu003eu0026 u003c/pu003eu003cpu003eu0026 u003c/pu003eu003cpu003eMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSu003c/pu003eu003cpu003eu0026 u003c/pu003eu003cpu003e1. High school diploma or equivalent.u003c/pu003eu003cpu003e2. Education in physical sciences and/or training in laboratory techniques preferred.u003c/pu003eu003cpu003e3. Minimum of 2 years dialysis experience preferred.u003c/pu003eu003cpu003e4. Reprocessing experience, including equipment repair and maintenance desirable.u003c/pu003eu003cpu003e5. Successful completion of training course in theory and practice of hemodialysis; or stateu003c/pu003eu003cpu003elicense or registration as required.u003c/pu003eu003cpu003e6.
