Amazing first-time parents on the Upper East Side are seeking a fantastic full-time live-in or live-out nanny. The schedule is 50 hours per week, ideally, 8am-6pm, three to four days per week, and 11am-9pm one to two days per week. Ubers will be provided on any late nights. The family does have a home upstate. They need someone who can travel with them as needed.All aspects of full-charge infant care, including feeding, diapering, bathing, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the childEngaging the child in age-appropriate play such as reading, singing, object tracking, and tummy timeTrack developmental milestones and communicate progress to parentsChild-related housekeeping, laundry, toy sanitation, and sterilization of bottles and pump partsOrganization of the child’s room, spaces, and belongings - keep areas tidyKeep an inventory of supplies for the nursery and restockAdhere to schedules and make appropriate adjustmentsSupport sleep and meal routinesFlexible with family support as needed, grocery shopping, empty/load dishwasher, vacuumStaying informed about child development and safety practicesCreate an environment for the child to grow and thriveThe family is looking to grow in the future, and the ideal candidate will be seeking a long-term positionPeaceful, grounded, and nurturing- someone who brings a steady, mindful energy into the householdFun, creative, and playful with childrenAble and willing to work with involved parents and grandparentsCollaborative approachPrior experience in a similar role with an infantBackground or formal training in early childhood educationKnowledge of milestones and how to help achievethemLooking for a long-term positionHappy to travel upstate with the familyLegal to work in the U.S.The family is offering:$35-$40/hr based on experience with benefits
