We believe that success starts with a sound team and that an inclusive and diverse workplace moves us all forward.WHAT YOU’LL DOThe Audio Visual Event Specialist will work in partnership with the customer, management team, global helpdesk, and SIG teams to provide on premises support for AVI-SPL customers at customer site(s) with the end goals of delivering a world-class Customer Service experience.Day-To-Day Responsibilities:Setup events in an atrium/cafeteria/ auditorium environmentSupport virtual and onsite Zoom and MS Teams EventsField service and support of Audio Visual/Video Conference endpoints and infrastructure (Microsoft Teams/Zoom/etc.)Field service support of control programs (Lenovo Hubs, Logitech Taps, etc.) - minor edits (could be with the aid of a programmer), compile, upload, and download capabilitySetup/breakdown of conference spaces to meet the customers event needsPerform preventative maintenance task to help maintain customer spaces including but not limited to: testing/repairing cables, testing/repairing various hardware componentsResponsible for job site documentation as neededPerform support tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner including but not limited to: meeting support, installing connectors, Zoom video/audio recording support, etc.Work with internal/external teams in a professional manner that reflects the values of AVI-SPLProvide client training as neededAdhere to and understand local safety standards for all site dutiesSetup, operate and troubleshoot various audio/video systems.Travel to various job sites as requiredMust be flexible to work after hours and weekends when requiredWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORMust-Haves:Effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleaguesAbility to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner and to solder & crimp connectorsAbility to manage small to medium projectsAbility to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlinesIntermediate computer knowledgeKnowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and controlValid Driver’s License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standardMinimum of a High School Diploma or equivalentAbility to regularly climb and work from ladders up to heights of 35 feet; lifting equipment, tools and materials.Nice-To-Haves:Minimum of 3 - 5 years of audiovisual integration, meeting/event support, and/or service experienceFormal education in Electronics, Technology, or related fieldThe following training certifications:Microsoft TeamsZoomAMX Intro to Networking for AV ProfessionalsAMX Programmer ICrestron Professional InstallationEssentials of Crestron Programming CertificationExton AV Associate CertificationInfoComm Quick Start to the Audio-Visual IndustryInfoComm CTS General CertificationWHY YOU’LL LIKE WORKING HEREMedical benefits, including vision and dentalPaid holidays, sick days, and personal daysEnjoyable and dynamic company cultureTraining and professional development opportunitiesMORE ABOUT USAVI-SPL is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
