If you have the required skill set, education requirements, and experience, please click the submit button and follow the next steps.Unless specifically stated otherwise, this role is, 'On-Site' at the location detailed in the job post.Salary Range:$35.00 To $43.00 HourlyField Service Tech based in Portland, Oregon MetroSummary:Primary responsibility's to perform vehicle troubleshooting, repair and maintenance work on chassis and track mounted aerials, digger derricks, cranes, high rail, and other equipment, in accordance with dealer and factory standards, in the field.PMâs ,Repair of Utility Trucks and Equipment, Hydraulics, Electrical Wiring, Diesel.Bucket trucks, diggers, truck-mounted cranes., CTOS provides a Utility Truck equipped with a welder, 4-ton crane, company computer and phone.You provide Mechanics tools and should have driver's license - CDL a plus.Pay based on experience, over-time as needed, healthcare plan, paid time off, 401k match, training, uniforms safety-boot ,safety glasses allowance, Tool discount program.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Reports to Service Manager, who will provide brief description of issues and supporting information related to the vehicle.Read and interpret equipment manuals and repair orders/instructions to perform required maintenance and service. (Must have the ability to utilize laptop, etc. to be able to access needed information and perform diagnostic tests.)Performs work as outlined in work instructions set forth by Service Manager; efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with Custom Truck One Source standards.Diagnosis and repair LMI Diagnostics (Load Moment Indicator) and CAN bus (Controller Area Network)Experience troubleshooting and repair of Utility trucks ,Equipment including electrical and spects and services vehicles and makes repairs and adjustments both at the service center and in the field.Verify work performed, road test vehicles as necessary.Prepare inspection reports, repair orders (recording service time and parts costs) and timecards completely and accurately.Tag all warranty and core parts for return.Advises management immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.Attends CTOS safety training and follows all safety requirements.Attends CTOS and factory -sponsored training classes.Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations such as those governing the disposal of hazardous municate easily with customers and internal departments to ensure minimal equipment downtime.Flexibility to travel beyond the area of coverage, based on business need.Work closely with Service Manager to grow and improve customer satisfaction.Additional duties or responsibilities as designated by the Service Manager.
