Description Established real estate firm in Manhattan is currently seeking a Bookkeeper. In this role, you will handle financial operations and reporting for a portfolio of real estate properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have 3+ of bookkeeping experience and a strong proficiency in property management software such as MRI and/or Yardi. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes for multiple real estate properties. u2022 Perform bank reconciliations and review property management statements to ensure accuracy. u2022 Generate monthly financial reports detailing property portfolio performance. u2022 Support budgeting and forecasting activities, tracking expenses to align with financial goals. u2022 Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements in all financial operations. u2022 Collaborate with property managers and the accounting team to address financial matters. Requirements u2022 3+ years of bookkeeping experience in real estate. u2022 Proficiency in property management software like Yardi or MRI. u2022 Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. u2022 Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting.
