We're looking for someone with expertise in Physics (specifically inertia tensors), Mathematics, Mass Properties, or Software and Programming (C# preferred).This role is open to candidates ranging from recent B.S./Masters/PhD graduates to experienced professionals in the field, particularly those with a background in manufacturing or aerospace. The ideal candidate may have a physics, mathematics, software, or engineering concentration, with diverse interests and skill sets that could contribute to various areas of our company. Compensation will be based on skills and prior experience.Software Engineer (Aerospace/Mass Properties) - Key Responsibilities:Assist in new product development.Develop spreadsheets or software for instrument performance criteria.Support software development and maintenance of mass properties systems.Learn and create materials to enhance expertise in mass properties.Analyze machine performance and determine appropriate testing.Support mechanical engineering in designing and developing mass properties machines and ancillary equipment.Support QA in uncertainty analysis for ISO17025/9001 accreditation.Perform data analysis of machine performance and identify areas for improvement.Collaborate with customers to solve problems and enhance understanding.Write and present mass properties information to customers.Software Engineer (Aerospace/Mass Properties) - Qualifications:We are seeking individuals with knowledge or expertise in one or more of the following areas:Physics (as applied to inertia tensors)MathematicsMass Properties knowledgeSoftware and Programming (C# preferred)Experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment is highly pensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $90,000.00 - $140,000.00
