Job Description As a Delivery Mover, you will work as part of a moving crew to safely and efficiently relocate customers’ belongings. This includes loading and unloading trucks, packing, and handling furniture, safe, and other items, and providing excellent customer service throughout the move. Key Responsibilities Load and unload household items, furniture, and equipment from moving trucks Wrap, pad, and secure furniture to protect against damage during transportation Carry, lift, and move items that may weigh up to 50 lbs. or more Disassemble and reassemble furniture when necessary Assist with packing and unpacking of boxes Use proper lifting techniques and safety protocols to prevent injury Maintain accuracy of inventory, item condition, and move paperwork Interact professionally and courteously with customers — greet them, walk through premises, and address questions or concerns Clean up and maintain moving equipment, trucks, and workspace after each job Follow company procedures and policies for safety, scheduling, and customer satisfaction Ability to lift heavy objects repetitively (up to ~50 lbs.) and perform physically demanding tasks Reliable transportation to and from job sites or office / warehouse Strong communication skills and professional demeanor when working with customers and crew Willingness to submit to background check and drug screening (if applicable) Prior experience in general labor, construction, warehouse work, or moving is a plus, but not always required Preferred Qualifications (Optional) Experience with specialty items like large office furniture and safes Familiarity with moving equipment (dollies, hand trucks, straps, blankets) Ability to follow or create detailed inventories and use move-tracking systems Basic problem-solving skills (navigating tight spaces, stairs, or difficult logistics) Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay: $18.00 Weekly paychecks Opportunities for growth and advancement to supervisor or driver roles Potential benefits: health, dental, 401(k), paid time off (adjust to what your company offers) Why Work With Us?
