Job Title (UNION) Porter Class C Job Description Summary Responsible to perform general inspection, cleaning, and stocking supplies in all common areas inside and outside of assigned building/property Job Description ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES u2022 Respond to building requests, as instructed u2022 Observe and maintain lobby areas for cleanliness u2022 Monitor and maintain elevators to include vacuuming u2022 Clean entrances including glass walkways, thresholds, etc. u2022 Clean outdoor furnishings and/ or seating areas and plaza u2022 Patrol building perimeter to remove trash and debris from grounds u2022 Assist with snow removal, salting/ sanding, as it applies for specific property(s) u2022 Inspect restrooms and clean as necessary, re-stock paper and soap products accordingly u2022 Report any stained ceiling tiles/roof leaks to management office u2022 Report any maintenance problems to management office u2022 Move boxes and light weight furnishings (chairs/ lamps/ end tables, etc.) u2022 Inspect lunchrooms and/or cafeterias and break areas and clean as necessary u2022 Periodically check and empty cigarette receptacles at building exterior u2022 Inspect dumpster areas for debris and ensure the scheduled pick-up has been made u2022 Maintain loading dock cleanliness (if applicable) u2022 Check in with management office for work orders u2022 Report cleaning inadequacies KEY COMPETENCIES 1. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
