For more information about Crum & Forster, please visit our website: www.cfins.com.Information about the Role, Line of Business and Team: The Events & Sponsorships Director role works with the VP, Events & Sponsorships and our Marketing & Corporate Communications team to support A&H’s Travel Insured International (TII) division to develop, execute and manage B-to-B and B-to-C events, sponsorships and tradeshows that support their business needs and strategic goals, and other areas as capacity permits. What you will do:Curate conferences, webinars, sponsorships, events and tradeshows that showcase TII’s expertise in travel insurance and foster industry thought leadershipEngage and manage internal and client-facing events for TII which meet their needs and objectives, with incredible attention to detail and a creative and innovative mindset Build trust and credibility for the Events & Sponsorship function across TII by developing strong client relationships and executing with excellence Deliver planning, idea creation, strong execution and post analysis recommendations while understanding client goals that move the business needle and raise C&F’s profileCreate events & sponsorship Cvent registration sites, surveys, mobile event apps, reporting, budgeting, and post-event analysisEngage Marketing team to support design, marketing and messaging, PR and digital assets, helping deliver connected marketing, as neededWork with TII business leads to capture ROI/ROE via Salesforce, Surveys, and other C&F platforms (connecting the dots)Manage events & sponsorships budgets and invoices throughout the planning lifecycleAssist with new requests for custom promotional items as neededWhat YOU will bring to C&F:Ability to manage multiple projects independentlyAbility to manage and influence internal and external events, and deliver value for C&FAbility to negotiate and deliver maximum corporate value for sponsorship agreements Ability to effectively manage external vendor relationshipsAbility to manage multiple budgets and complex expenses in an accurate and timely mannerA proactive attitude with a responsive and client-focused natureA sense of urgency, detail-oriented, and the ability to prioritizeAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple projects and deadlines Ability to use creative and critical thinking to identify and solve problemsDemonstrated ability to work with change and ambiguityExcellent verbal, written, and presentation skillsAbility to think outside the boxStrong organization, planning, project management, and time management skillsExcellent collaboration, relationship-building and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skills and ability to function autonomously and effectivelyUnderstanding of corporate culture and ability to work well across organizational linesDrive and role model C&F values and core competenciesOther duties as assignedRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required10+ years of overall related experience7-10+ years’ experience as a Corporate Event Planner, preferably in Insurance and/or Financial Services IndustryExperience in assessing and managing small to large sponsorshipsAbility to travel up to 30 - 50%, domesticExperience in managing events of all sizes, including internal and external meetings and conferences, marquis events, industry conferences, and moreKnowledge in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.Cvent knowledge, super user desiredCMP (Certified Meeting Professional) Designation preferred Knowledge of CRM platforms (Salesforce) and Constant Contact, or other email distribution platforms a plus#LI-MS#LI-REMOTECompetitive compensation packageGenerous 401K employer matchEmployee Stock Purchase plan with employer matchingGenerous Paid Time OffExcellent benefits that go beyond health, dental & vision. Salary ranges are available for all positions at this location, taking into account roles with a comparable level of responsibility and impact in the relevant labor market and these salary ranges are regularly reviewed and adjusted in accordance with prevailing market conditions. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $100,700 to a maximum of $147,700. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
