AsDay Residential Advisor, you will be responsible for overseeing thecleanliness and maintenance of the dormitories during class-hours toensure facility standards are maintained. Our academic and career technicaltraining programs are accredited and lead to nationalindustry-recognized credentials.Position Duties Include:o Ensures the physical security of the dorm area during class hours andreports concerns to dorm management.o Conducts inspections of each dorm room and initiates work orders tomake necessary repairs daily.o Follows up on work orders to ensure timely completion.o Documents and tracks inspection performance; reports concerns andtrends to Social Development Management staff.o Maintains adequate levels of inventory per established departmentreorder points and proactively orders supplies to meet departmentrequirement.o Coordinate the packing, mailing and tracking of all separated studentsbelongings.o Escorts and assists students in packing their personal belongings andfinalizes transportation arrangements.o Transports students to and from public transportation sites.o Produces quality work and completes assignments in a thorough, timelyand accurate manner.o Maintains appropriate personal attendance, accountability and workproductivity standards.o Plans, prioritizes and organizes assignments to meet established goalsand deadlines.o Understands and applies job knowledge to effectively complete allrequired job responsibilities. Proactively maintains the skills requiredto perform job duties.o Mentors, monitors and models the Career Success Standards as requiredby the PRH.o Provides high-quality supervision and management for the studentpopulation. Takes swift and appropriate action and positively influencesstudent behavior. Shows respect and courtesy to students and holds themaccountable for their actions and behavior.o Provides quality programs and services for students and ensures thatquality is maintained and student needs are met. Pursues improvement andenhancement of programs and services.o Exchanges ideas and information, both orally and in writing, in aclear and concise manner and contributes meaningfully to group effortsby offering relevant ideas and knowledge. Provides quality and timelyinformation to DOL/Company when requested.o Effectively articulates thoughts nd ideas. Identifies problems,analyzes causes and evaluates appropriate solutions prior to taking orrecommending actions. Follows up to ensure prompt/appropriate action istaken and that problems are in fact corrected.o Works in partnership with staff from all Departments to ensureeffective supervision and services are provided to students.o Provide transportation as required.o Accepts direction and supervision from the Center Director/Center DutyOfficer/Shift Manager to include assignments to temporarily perform jobresponsibilities of other departments and positions.o Other duties as assigned.Qualifications- High School diploma or equivalent required.- Advanced degrees preferred.- Prefer Job Corps or related program experience.- Must possess a valid in-State Driver's License and meet Company insurability requirements.- Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching.- Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.BENEFITS INCLUDE:Competitive hourly wage of $19/hourEmployer paid medical insuranceDental insuranceFlexible spending account
