Arup seeks a dynamic and experienced Healthcare Electrical Engineering Leader / Project Manager to support our rapidly growing Healthcare Business in the West Geography. This role plays a key part in leading major projectsu2014most notably a high-profile healthcare project in Phoenixu2014and contributes strategically to the expansion of our healthcare portfolio. As a senior leader, you oversee complex multidisciplinary teams, provide technical and project leadership, mentor future leaders, and embody Arup's mission of shaping a better world. The Opportunity u00b7 Identify staffing needs and lead the recruitment and hiring of technical staff. u00b7 Support career development through mentorship, coaching, and performance evaluations. u00b7 Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and inclusivity within the team. u00b7 Monitor and manage project budgets, financial performance, and risk. u00b7 Ensure contracts align with Arupu2019s commercial objectives and risk management standards. u00b7 Lead financial communications with clients and negotiate project scope and schedule changes when needed. u00b7 Drive business development efforts, including developing strategies, proposals, and client pitches. u00b7 Represent Arup externally with clients and within the healthcare industry. u00b7 Cultivate trusted client relationships and find opportunities for new projects. u00b7 Serve as Engineer of Record and lead sophisticated healthcare projects across the region. u00b7 Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. u00b7 Oversee interdisciplinary coordination and handle overall project team performance. u00b7 Deliver high-quality electrical engineering designs for healthcare facilities. u00b7 Lead quality assurance and quality control processes while implementing technical best practices. u00b7 Translate client needs into technically sound, code-compliant, and innovative solutions. u00b7 Support Arupu2019s strategic growth in the healthcare sector in the West, a key contributor to the regionu2019s income. u00b7 Play a critical leadership role in a confidential healthcare project in Phoenix. u00b7 Help grow the leadership capacity and operational excellence of the Healthcare team. u00b7 Strengthen Arupu2019s presence and reputation in the healthcare industry. u00b7 Own the successful delivery of the confidential Phoenix healthcare project as a model for future growth. The Skills u00b7 Bacheloru2019s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering required. u00b7 Minimum 15 years of experience designing electrical systems for healthcare facilities required. u00b7 Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain within 6 months required. u00b7 Minimum 8 years of experience leading multidisciplinary healthcare projects. u00b7 Confirmed experience with Central Plant Design and Acute Care Renovation Projects u00b7 Deep knowledge of applicable healthcare regulations and codes u00b7 Strong commercial savvy, client relationship development, and team leadership skills u00b7 Excellent communication and presentation abilities u00b7 Passion for sustainable design and alignment with Arupu2019s mission and values Please note that all applicants must apply directly via the job portal.
