TITLE: FINANCIAL SERVICE SPECIALIST I (TELLER): PART-TIMEand#10;STATUS: NON-EXEMPTand#10;DEPARTMENT: BRADSHAW BRANCHand#10;REPORTS TO: ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGERand#10;PAY SCALE: $19.50 - $22.00 PER HOURand#10;and#10;and#10;and#10;Sacramento Credit Union is seeking candidates who enjoy being of service to customers, possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to cross-sell products and services for our Part-Time Financial Service Specialist I (Teller) position at our Bradshaw branch. Individuals who derive satisfaction and accomplishment from assisting others would be successful in our environment. and#10;and#10;and#10;All Tellers have a fixed schedule so itandrsquo;s perfect for individuals wanting a work/life balance. The 20-hour schedule is as follows:and#10;and#10;Monday: OFFand#10;Tuesday: 9:15 am - 5:15 pmand#10;Wednesday OFF and#10;Thursday OFFand#10;Friday: 9:30 am - 6:30 pm and#10;Saturday 9:30 am - 2:30 pmand#10;and#10;and#10;and#10;RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:and#10;Greet and welcome members to the credit union in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.and#10;Processes member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, cash checks, transfers, loan payments, issue cashierandrsquo;s checks, and other transactions.and#10;Issues new ATM/VISA check cards for members and assists with PIN updates.and#10;Assists with daily operational tasks such as opening and closing duties and working in dual control.and#10;Informs, educates and cross sells current products and services to members and refers members to designated staff for assistance.and#10;Achieves referral goals as directed by Assistant Branch Manager or Branch Manager.and#10;Examine share draft/checks for proper endorsement and placing the proper holds.and#10;Sets up periodic payments and assists members with completion of payroll deduction and direct deposit.and#10;Balances ATM and processes night-drop deposit transactions.and#10;Balance cash drawer at end of shift and compare total amount to the CORE. Research and resolve discrepancies. Report any discrepancies to management, as necessary.and#10;Assist in loading cash into TCRs and posts replenishments.and#10;Processes stop payments, wire request, affidavit of unauthorized use of VISA debit and credit cards, updates member status, changes to name, address, and other pertinent information.and#10;Open and close sub shares on accounts. Processes account closure requests, attempts to prevent account closure, if possible.and#10;Completes daily duties such as check scanning, closing out cash advance terminal. Scans all necessary documentation.and#10;Enroll members in online and mobile banking.and#10;Identifies and reports fraudulent activity to management in accordance with current procedures to prevent potential loss to the credit union.and#10;Maintain knowledge of all credit union products and services that are handled or promoted by FSSs.and#10;Maintain knowledge and adhere to all SCUandrsquo;s policies and procedures, rules, and regulations for the FSS area, including robbery, Bank Secrecy Act and Money Laundering policies and procedures.and#10;Assist at other branches, as needed.and#10;Participates in community and business development events to increase brand awareness and drive new business.and#10;Maintains effective communication and working relationships with all members and co-workers.and#10;Adheres to SCUandrsquo;s Dress Guidelines.and#10;Maintains good attendance record.and#10;Performs other related duties as assigned.and#10;and#10;and#10;and#10;MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:and#10;High School Diploma or G.E.D. and related work experience normally obtained in a member service and cash handling position.and#10;Demonstrated ability to improve our membersandrsquo; financial well-being via timely and relevant cross-sells.and#10;Ability to perform accurate math calculations and maintain records.and#10;Ability to perform accurate cash transactions.and#10;Ability to accurately use keyboard t speed required for successful job performance.and#10;Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective working relationships.and#10;Demonstrated member service skills.and#10;Maintains good attendance record.and#10;and#10;PHYSICAL DEMANDS:and#10;and#10;Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time:and#10;Prolonged standing throughout the workday.
