Job Description Metro is looking for a motivated and passionate PER DIEM Occupational Therapist to provide in-home care. Come be a part of a growing organization in a progressive, supportive, and innovative team All levels of experience are encouraged to apply and will train the right new graduate. + Job Type: Per Diem + Pay: $80-$90 per visit + Location: Upper East Side + Schedule: Flexible What We Offer + 1099 and W-2 options to fit your preferred work style + Competitive salary + Longstanding Success + Opportunities for professional growth and development + A professional, supportive and fun work environment fostered by a team of well-respected clinicians who take pride in the challenges of meaningful work + Focus on Patient Care - Quick EMR (No Oasis required) + Great work/life balance + Flexibility and Autonomy - see patients any 7 days of the week + Preference given to see patients in your primary geographic area Responsibilities: + Accept and treat patients within your designated geographic area + Provide 1:1 treatment + Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient needs + Deliver care that aligns with professional standards, agency policies, and the prescribed plan of care + Educate family members, home health aides, and other caregivers on proper therapy techniques + Plan, and carry out occupational therapy programs to maintain, improve or restore physical function, relieve pain, and prevent occupational dysfunction in patients. + Perform and document an initial exam, evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention. + Provide timely and accurate documentation for each visit + Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit + Must be willing to treat geriatric patients. Qualifications + Occupational Therapist Program Graduate + Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of New York or eligible. + Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications. + Home health experience is preferred but not required - We will provide you with a mentor to help with documentation and compliance. + Ability to travel to patientsu2019 homes within the assigned geographic territory + Strong communication skills between patients, support staff, and management, including timely responses via text, email, phone, etc. Additional InformationWe are proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
