Job Description

Title: Construction Laborer Job Description We are seeking diligent and hardworking construction laborers to manage site generalities on a daily basis. This role involves a variety of tasks essential to maintaining and constructing on our sites. Responsibilities + Set up trailer alleys, assemble furniture, and keep trailers clean at all times. + Work collaboratively with team members to move materials as needed on site, which may include assisting with decking construction around trailer alleys. + Assist in the construction of temporary resting areas on the site. + Perform general cleanup of municipalities, including dusting, sweeping, and mopping, especially during snowy days. Essential Skills + Experience in civil construction and general labor tasks. + Proficiency in using hand tools and understanding of GPS Blade and CAT equipment. + Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions including mud, wetness, and extreme heat. + Physical capability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and lift 50lbs or more to head level. + Capacity to carry materials such as tools, boxes, and wood boards. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Valid driver's license and the ability to pass an MVR check are required. + Experience in landscaping is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role involves both indoor and outdoor work on an open construction site, requiring adaptability to various weather conditions. You will encounter mud, wetness, and cold during the winter, as well as intense heat in the summer. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
