Job Title

Sanitation Supervisor, 3rd shift Hours 10pm - 6am Wed - Sun. Report To: Sanitation Manager In this role you will: Plan and direct the activities of sanitation personnel during a work shift Ensure cleaning standards are maintained and prevent product contamination Conduct inspections and initiate corrective action as needed Pest control application as needed Ensure reports are properly maintained and completed timely Evaluate job performance of sanitation personnel and take corrective action as needed Ensure proper training of sanitation personnel to follow work policies and procedures Assist in the daily evaluation of product quality to ensure compliance with established standards Ensure a safe operation in compliance with all plant safety prevention programs Comply with all collective bargaining agreements to foster positive employee relations Cooperate with engineering and production departments with required maintenance of equipment and facilities Perform other duties relating to the efficient operation as assigned Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent 4 years of sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment People Management skills Willing to work flexible hours Work with cleaning and chemical agents and wear required PPE on a regular basis Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role: Bachelor’s Degree, Food Science or Microbiology Leadership experience Capable of teaching, training, and sharing technical knowledge to operations employees Effective Oral and Written Communication Computer knowledge specifically in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
