Position Description Set Goals, Exceed Expectations: Collaborate with Sales leadership to set clear, measurable sales targets, breaking down goals into monthly, quarterly, and annual achievements. Build a Winning Pipeline: Proactively grow a robust pipeline of opportunities in your territory, keeping the momentum going every day. Prospect and Connect: Use your persuasive skills daily to reach potential clients, making cold calls, leveraging referrals, and nurturing recommendations. You’ll also follow up on all leads promptly, ensuring no stone is left unturned. Client Meetings: Meet potential clients, clearly outline services, and gather essential details needed to prepare proposals—tailored to their specific needs. Lead RFPs and Presentations: Take charge of formal proposals and presentations, especially for high-value prospects, to communicate the unique value offered. Collaborate for Success: Work with Trade Compliance, Operations, and Client Partnering teams to ensure a seamless client experience. Drive Proposals to Close: Present detailed, well-crafted proposals to clients that include pricing, services, and additional company insights, customizing as needed to exceed expectations. Engage in Learning: Participate in sales training and special projects, working closely with senior sales leadership and RFP management. Stay Organized: Regularly prepare sales reports and stay on top of activities, ensuring accurate reporting and effective time management. Experience Over 7 years of sales experience with a background in customs brokerage or related industries. Qualifications Drive and Determination: A goal-oriented mindset and a passion for closing deals. Expert Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills with a professional touch in negotiations. Tech-Savvy Efficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and CRM systems, with a preference for Salesforce. Time Management: Exceptional organizational skills to manage leads, client meetings, and proposal preparation with efficiency. Travel Ready: A valid driver’s license, passport, and unrestricted travel across the US and Canada are essential. Education A post-secondary diploma or equivalent in sales, marketing, or business.
