The position will be responsible for overall sales performance and have oversight of their associates and dotted line reports.Position DetailsReports into the Director of Customer GroupsDirect oversight of 3 Outside Sales Representatives and 2 sales support representatives.Position can be based out of any of our locations in Arizona, California, or NevadaResponsibilitiesDevelop and establish annual and monthly sales objectives in alignment with the company’s business plan and strategies. Prepare an annual sales plan, providing necessary and timely updates, revisions, and modifications to the plan.Develop and align sales strategies, techniques, and tactics based on feedback from leadership, sales management, customer groups, and vendor partners.Formulate and implement a plan for sales results to meet overall business and strategic goals. Develop strategies to increase revenue, market share, new client targets, and product diversification. Identify new territories and create expansion plans.Work with regional leadership, and sales management to develop pricing strategies and sales campaigns. Communicate with customers to assess satisfaction levels with services/products.Analyze data and Sales Ops metrics and interpret the meaning to measure and assess team and individual performance levels. Examine the area's sales revenue and gross profit, customer base, and product categories. Monitor sales trends and product performance results to determine inventory requirements and competitive pricing strategies teract and communicate regularly with Leadership and team members to ensure operational and sales priorities are aligned. Discuss sales, projections, business climate, product promotions, branch exceptions, potential liabilities, and general commentary across all business sectors and customer groups.Regularly meet with the team of associates, providing support, mentorship, and resources. Accompany sales associates on sales calls and schedule meetings. Provide constructive feedback and suggestions on sales techniques, presentation, improve professionally, and sales support.Lead and evaluate the performance of sales associates in relation to their sales goals, development, product diversification, customer feedback, customer service, and internal communications and relationships.Ensure participation and compliance with all training programs exhibiting commitment to the long-term development of associates. Maintain Health and Safety guidelines, policies, rules, regulations, and procedures set by the organization.Collaborate with all sector leaders (Geo Stormwater Infrastructure, Business Development, Renewable Energy, National Product Manager), customer groups, and leadership to develop market strategies and goals.Continually improve sales skills, product knowledge, and available tools and technology to promote a professional image. Establish the required training regimen and frequency for training GSA on SalesForce, Trilogie, PowerBi, Excel, PowerPoint, and other technologies.Qualifications5+ years experience in sales and/or management within Waterworks, Geo Stormwater experience is preferredPrior knowledge of Geo Stormwater products and/or programsFamiliarity with markets and business units within assigned geography is a plusDesire to be a hard-working leader, mentor and motivator of individuals and teamsAbility to analyze data, develop budgets, implement plans, and deliver effective presentationsExperience defining customer needs and providing solutionsConstructive communication skills, both verbal and written, are a mustProficient Excel and PDF skillsAbility to travel throughout the market with occasional flights and overnightsAt Ferguson, we care for each other.
