We’re looking for an engaging, skilled Bartender to create exceptional experiences for our guests. This role involves preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, taking orders, handling payments, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and ensuring full compliance with alcohol service laws. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent multitasking abilities, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to stay composed in a fast-paced environment.Great bartenders excel in a combination of social and practical skills, including strong communication and customer service, mastery of mixology, and excellent multitasking abilities to manage a busy environment.They are also characterized by composure, professionalism, a clean and organized workspace, and genuine passion for their craft, which enables them to stay calm under pressure and provide a welcoming, consistent experience for their patrons.What We OfferHourly Rate: $12 + Tip Out Training opportunities, including TIPs CertificationSupportive team environment and guest-friendly atmosphereOpportunities for advancement within the Saloon and/or ResortKey ResponsibilitiesDrink Preparation & ServicePrepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality.Recommend drinks based on guest preferences and menu knowledge.Ensure all beverages are prepared safely and responsibly.Guest Interaction & Customer ServiceGreet guests warmly and help create a welcoming, enjoyable atmosphere.Take accurate drink and food orders and deliver them promptly.Build rapport with customers through friendly, attentive service.Resolve customer concerns politely and efficiently.Safety + Compliance + ID VerificationCheck IDs to verify legal drinking age and refuse service as needed.Monitor guests for signs of intoxication or overservice.Follow all state/local alcohol service laws and venue safety protocols.Bar Maintenance & Inventory ManagementMaintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.Restock liquor, beer, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies.Assist with inventory counts and communicate low-stock items.Properly clean tools and equipment at the end of each shift.Payment Handling & TransactionsProcess payments accurately using POS systems.Handle cash, credit cards, tabs, and receipts responsibly.Follow venue procedures for comping, voids, and closing duties.What Makes a Great Bartender?Strong communication & customer service skills to build rapport and ensure guests feel valued.Mastery of mixology, including classic cocktails, signature drinks, and creative presentation.Excellent multitasking abilities to manage high-volume service without sacrificing quality.Composure and professionalism, remaining calm and friendly even during busy or stressful periods.Clean, organized workspace habits that support speed, consistency, and safety.Genuine passion for hospitality and craft, contributing to memorable guest experiences every time.Core ResponsibilitiesMakes Syrups + MixersNote all low inventory and 86’d on the WhiteboardEnsure all backstock is full in all areasDirect and delegate to Barbacks during service to get items from the liquor room, assist with beer and wine pours, and communicate priority needs during serviceBeverage Preparation: Mixing and serving a variety of drinks, including cocktails and non-alcoholic options, accurately and in a timely manner. Customer Interaction: Greeting guests, taking orders, providing menu recommendations, and making them feel welcome. Order Processing & Payment: Accurately taking orders, processing cash and credit card transactions using a POS system, and managing customer tabs. Inventory Management: Monitoring and restocking bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.Bar Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and organized bar area, washing glassware, and ensuring all tools and supplies are in order. QualificationsPrevious bartending or hospitality experience preferred.Knowledge of cocktail preparation, bar tools, and drink recipes.Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move quickly for extended periods.Certification in alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe)Key Skills & QualitiesMixology: A strong knowledge of drink recipes and mixing techniques is essential.
