CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift This position is Monday - Friday, 3pm - 11pm CST Pay: $18 per hour Must be able to train on day shift for the first 3 weeks of work This position is full -time temp to perm and offers full benefits. We are seeking an experienced Machinist to join a leading manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various types of production machinery to produce high-quality components with precision and consistency. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities Set up and operate manual and/or CNC machining equipment (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.) Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions Measure, inspect, and verify product dimensions using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other tools Adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and meet production specifications Monitor equipment during operation to ensure smooth performance and prevent defects Perform basic machine maintenance and keep equipment clean and in good working condition Troubleshoot machine issues and communicate any concerns to supervisors Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout protocols, and company quality standards Maintain accurate production records and documentation Qualifications Previous experience as a machinist in a manufacturing environment (required) Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and precision measurement tools Strong mechanical, analytical, and problem-solving skills Experience with CNC equipment preferred but not required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team #2921AL
