QA Technician - Weekend Shift Laboratory Columbus, OH, US + Added - 25/11/2025 Apply for Job Pay Rate Low: 22 Pay Rate High: 24 _This is a great opportunity, especially for new grads, to join a long-standing, industry-leading food manufacturer_ Pay: $22-$24/hr Schedule: 3:30p-4a Fri-Sun Type of Job: 3 month assignment with possibility of extension Responsibilities: + Collect samples of ingredients, products or packages and monitor test according to established procedures; monitor processes to ensure they are operating consistently; document neatly and precisely all results + Analyze the pH, viscosity, water activity, brix, density, taste, color, texture and appearance of ingredients, in-process, and finished products + Perform titrations to obtain salt, lactic and acetic acid concentrations + Prepare flavors and dyes for ingredients + Label and maintain samples of ingredients and samples for retains and shelf life monitoring; organize collected data for management review + Inspect production lines and validate integrity of all testing components + Assist in projects involving shelf life studies and auditing retains Requirements + High school diploma or equivalent + Basic math and science skills + Ability to follow detailed instructions + Make and record observations and efficiently organize work tasks and time + Written and oral communication skills _We strongly encourage candidates who have some of the skills to apply.
