Job Title: Warehouse WorkerJob DescriptionThis position is responsible for the daily staging, packing, and picking of materials for shipment. It involves the use of proper equipment to ensure efficiency and accuracy.ResponsibilitiesPick and stage feedstock for fulfillment orders.Break down bulk bundles for customer-specific orders.Package materials according to customer requirements.Operate a sit-down or side loader forklift to move materials as needed.Operate an overhead crane to move materials as plete paperwork and SAP work order confirmations for shipping and receiving on the computer.Maximize productivity for finished goods creation.Essential SkillsProficient in overhead crane operation.Experience with forklift operations.Skilled in packing and picking.Additional Skills & QualificationsSuccessfully pass a skills-based assessment evaluating reading, math, inspection & measurement, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.Regular attendance is essential.Basic math skills required.Basic computer skills and/or comfort using a computer.Physical ability to pass a physical requirements exam for vision, hearing, and mobility.Successful candidates will be enrolled in a registered apprenticeship program as part of their onboarding and new hire training.Why Work Here?Employees receive immediate access to vacation and insurance benefits upon hire. The facility houses approximately 23 employees, emphasizing teamwork and safety.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lansing, MI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
