This age group is full of curiosity, growing independence, and big developmental leaps — and we’re seeking someone who can nurture that growth through play, exploration, and routine. If you enjoy working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting and want to join a supportive, team-focused school, we’d love to meet you. Key Responsibilities Supervise and guide 2-year-olds in a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. Implement play-based activities that support early language, motor skills, social-emotional development, and independence. Assist with classroom routines including meal times, diapering/potty training, transitions, and rest time. Maintain a clean, organized classroom that encourages exploration and creativity. Communicate positively with families and update them on daily activities and progress. Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to uphold licensing and center standards. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Experience working with toddlers in a childcare, daycare, or preschool setting preferred. CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus (not required). Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP). Must meet all New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.
