We’re hiring a Technical Writer (Finance) for an onsite role in Jersey City, New Jersey. This is a 6-month contract opportunity with a global financial institution. In this role, you’ll join the Marketing team within the Corporate and Investment Banking group to deliver customer-centric print and digital marketing experiences. You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining developer-facing content such as guides, specifications, and product documentation. Working closely with product managers, engineers, and designers, you’ll ensure all technical content is clear, concise, and user-friendly. Your work will help improve the developer experience through high-quality resources that support integration, troubleshooting, and training. Technical Writer (Finance) Responsibilities: Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, FAQs, and specifications. Translate complex technical details into clear, user-focused content. Develop training materials such as video scripts and webinar decks. Provide accurate documentation to support troubleshooting and product use. Review and update existing documentation to ensure quality and compliance. Work collaboratively while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Technical Writer (Finance) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. 3+ years of technical writing experience. Experience with Bitbucket and Open API (YAML, JSON). Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, WordPress, or Drupal. Knowledge of APIs, SDKs, and programming principles. Experience with markup languages (DITA, HTML, XML, CSS).
