At Cascades, we’re seeking a passionate and driven HR Advisor who’s eager to contribute to operational excellence and elevate our people strategy.Your ResponsibilitiesLead with purpose: Oversee and optimize HR operations, ensuring compliance and excellence in compensation, benefits, health management, talent development, and leave administration.Be a strategic partner: Collaborate with the HR Manager on budgeting, workforce planning, and succession strategies to shape the future of our teams.Empower performance: Coach and support operations and administrative leaders to unlock potential, foster development, and drive continuous improvement.Drive attraction and retention: Champion our talent strategy and support key HR initiatives across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.Represent with pride: Act as an ambassador for Cascades at community and corporate events, strengthening our employer brand.Support onboarding excellence: Help coordinate and implement comprehensive training and onboarding programs to support SOP development, cross-training, and operational success in a startup paper mill environment.Facilitate continuous improvement: Partner with site leadership to enhance training effectiveness, workforce capability, and employee engagement.Standardize development tools: Empower leaders to create, maintain, and standardize training materials, documentation, and tracking systems to ensure consistent skill development, compliance, and performance across all departments.Bring out the best in yourself!Every day, our colleagues choose to respect their true nature by contributing with passion to our mission.You too, put forward your strengths:Bachelor's degreein Human Resources or Labor Relations Member of SHRM (or in progress), an asset1 year of experience in a human resources role or internshipKnowledge of regulatory compliance in the US and the State of VirginiaProficient in MS Office and experience with HRIS systems such as Success Factors (an asset)Strong analytical, organizational and communications skills and ability to set prioritiesLeadership and expertise in promoting buy-in to proposed solutions and changeBe eligible to travel for business to CanadaWe look forward to meeting you!About CascadesCascades believes in the success of an inclusive organization that values diversity within its team.
