Job Description

This is a remote position. McKeenix is seeking a highly detail-oriented Data Entry & Records Clerk to support the accurate handling, organization, and maintenance of digital records across the company. This remote role plays a critical part in ensuring data integrity, proper documentation, and smooth information flow between departments. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and capable of managing a structured workload in a professional remote environment. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter, review, and update records into internal systems, databases, and tracking tools. Maintain organized digital filing systems, ensuring all records are stored, labeled, and archived properly for future retrieval. Perform quality checks to identify errors, missing information, duplicate entries, or inconsistencies in submitted documents. Assist with document classification, including labeling, indexing, renaming, and tagging files to align with internal record-keeping standards. Prepare summaries, reports, and extracted data sets for management, analysts, and other teams. Verify source documents for completeness and ensure sensitive information is handled appropriately. Support secure document transfers between departments using remote workflows and digital collaboration tools. Respond to internal record requests, providing accurate retrieval, clarification, or updates as needed. Track data processing progress, maintain logs of completed tasks, and report bottlenecks or challenges. Collaborate with team members in scheduled virtual meetings, training sessions, and periodic remote check-ins. Adhere to data privacy procedures to ensure secure handling of confidential or proprietary materials. Suggest improvements to record-keeping workflows to increase efficiency and reduce processing errors. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in business administration or related fields preferred. Prior experience in data entry, digital record management, office administration, or similar roles — including remote positions. Strong typing skills with high accuracy and excellent attention to detail. Proficiency with spreadsheets, cloud-based storage systems, and document-management software. Strong organizational and time-management abilities with the discipline to work independently in a remote setting. Ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks while upholding accuracy and consistency. Clear written communication skills for processing documentation and internal coordination. Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote workspace free from distractions.
