Inspect tools before use; if a tool is damaged or broken tag it “Do Not Use” and notify a supervisor. Lock casters to ensure carts do not move. Use designated clip to secure cart doors so they do not hit your head/hand. Bring cart to comfortable height to prevent strains and sprains. Use knee pads or an anti-fatigue mat to reduce stress on knees. Stop work and speak to your supervisor if you experience muscle strain or discomfort when using any tool. Keep work area free of debris and do not place tools on the floor; use the bins provided. When segregating items, ensure the height or weight of the material in bins does not exceed the capacity of the bin. Check the bins to make sure they are stable before moving.
