Job Description: Training Specialist AdvisorJoin General Dynamics IT and be a part of a team that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. TACTRACGRULANT’s Fleet Deployment Training Program Support (FDTPS) team is seeking a SLAMEX/TLAM Training Lead Support with expertise in Fleet Synthetic Training to join their team in Virginia Beach, VA. The FDTPS team provides dynamic, quality afloat training to Navy and Marine Corps personnel to ensure a combat ready force capable of performing a broad spectrum of maritime missions. Special emphasis is placed on training Carrier and Expeditionary Strike Groups and Amphibious Squadrons staffs and their supporting forces prior to a deployment to ensure they are combat ready.Duties include:Oversee and coordinate all aspects of TLAM exercise and certification schedules.Coordinate with lead exercise planners and directors from partner training organizations during planning and execution of synthetic training events involving TLAM scenarios/vignettes.Develop TLAM certification program requirements and scenarios and provide TLAM certification program management support.Develop, refine, supervise and conduct distributed synthetic unit and Strike Group TLAM proficiency assessments for certification purposes.Provide expertise for all aspects of the TLAM training program including Doctrine, Navy Fleet Command procedures, ROE, TTPs, and best practices.Perform duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree8 years relevant experience (10 years if no Bachelor’s degree)Top Secret / Sensitive Compartment Information level eligibleFive (5) years’ experience in the following: (i) TLAM program including involvement in all major phases of TLAM training events (Phases I thru III) (ii) Strike Group or Navy Fleet Command or equivalent involving TLAM trainingTwo (2) years’ experience as JSAF operatorGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:● Full-flex work week to own your priorities at work and at home● 401K with company match● Comprehensive health and wellness packages● Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career● Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications● Cutting-edge technology you can learn from● Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidaysThe likely salary range for this position is $80,226 - $133,973. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
