The RN and LPN Charge Nurse has the opportunity to positively interact with residents, guests, family members and team members daily. Shifts Available: Full-Time - 6:30 - 6:30 , 36 hours per week Part-Time - 6:30 - 6:30 , 12-24 hours per week Must work every third weekend Responsibilities: Observe and record patient behavior. Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests. Collect patient health history. Counsel and educate patients and their families on treatment plans. Administer medication, change wound dressings and care for other treatment options. Read and interpret patient information, making treatment decisions when appropriate. Consult with supervisors and doctors to decide on the best treatment plan for patients. Direct and supervise nurses, nurse assistants and nurse aides. Research ways to improve healthcare processes and improve patient outcomes. Professional Qualifications and Requirements: Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Active licensure in the state of Nebraska CPR Certified required Clean background check and clean drug screen Personal Qualifications: Must have a warm, outgoing and friendly personality so our residents feel welcome and want to participate in activities. A Registered Nurse will have a strong desire to relate to and work with the elderly. They possess high personal integrity, a caring attitude and portray a positive image. Registered Nurses find fulfillment in building personal relationships and providing excellent quality life services.
