Description ​The Athletics Marketing Assistant will work closely with the Assistant Director, Athletics/Coordinator, Athletic Director, Assistant Athletic Directors and other Campus Recreation staff in a positive and professional manner.Assists in planning and executing sports marketing campaigns, events, and promotions.Helps to develop and maintain relationships with sponsors, partners, and vendors.Provides support in conducting market research and analyzing data to help make informed decisions.Helps to create marketing materials such as social media posts, presentations, and ad copy.Assists with coordinating athletes and influencers for promotional events and appearances.Provides administrative support such as scheduling meetings, organizing files, key fob log, and room reservations.Actively monitors social media and online communities to stay informed about trends and conversations.Helps to plan and execute fan engagement activities such as contests and giveaways.Provides exceptional customer service to fans, clients, and partners.Assist the Administrative Office staff with other duties as assigned.Required Skills/KnowledgeHighly organizedEffective communicationBasic knowledge of marketing principlesPassion for sportsSeasoned experience in collegiate marketing operationsUnderstanding of campus/department policies and proceduresAbility to plan, administer, and coordinate daily operations of complex programs.A high school diploma, or GEDSalary$6,000 (5-month contract)ExemptYesFull-Time Equivalent20.0%Required Attachment(s)To be considered for this position, you must upload the following document to your application:Cover letterResume/CV: List a detailed description of the major duties you performed as part of each job.
