We combine advanced clinical techniques with compassionate communication, creating a team culture built on excellence, empathy, and integrityWe currently offer a full scope of pediatric dental services (preventive, restorative, sedation, special needs) and orthodontics (braces, aligners) to our young patient community.Position SummaryWe are seeking a motivated, skilled Orthodontic Associate to join our team in a full‑time capacity. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and teens, bring clinical excellence, and contribute to a supportive team environment. This role includes providing comprehensive orthodontic care (traditional braces, clear aligners, interceptive treatment, retainers), collaborating with the pediatric dental team, and participating in the growth of our orthodontic services.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, plan, and provide orthodontic treatment for pediatric and adolescent patients (e.g. fixed appliances, removable appliances, clear aligners, growth modification).Perform consultations, progress checks, treatment adjustments, retention, and follow‑ups.Collaborate with the broader dental team (pediatric dentists, hygienists, assistants) to integrate orthodontic treatment into comprehensive care plans.Support practice growth by contributing to patient referrals, marketing efforts, and outreach when desired.Uphold a positive, friendly, and child‑centered atmosphere consistent with The Smile Lodge brand.Qualifications & SkillsDoctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.Completed accredited orthodontic specialty trainingValid license to practice dentistry/orthodontics in New York State (or ability to obtain).Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills (especially with children and families).Compassion, patience, and a warm demeanor suited to pediatric patients.Commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and a positive office culture.Dedication to lifelong learning and staying current with advancements in orthodontics.What We OfferCompetitive base compensation plus performance/incentive opportunitiesFull benefits packageContinuing education allowance/supportSupportive, collaborative team environmentOpportunity to build your patient base within an established pediatric dental/orthodontic practiceState-of-the-art equipment, modern facilities, and well‑trained support staffINDDROP06
