Together, we are creating an environment where nurses are owners in the clinical decision-making process, are well connected, have open communication with their colleagues, feel supported to develop professionally, and understand the future of nursing at MultiCare.ResponsibilitiesUtilizes the nursing process as a systematic problem-solving approach to nursing care, facilitating an optimal level of functioning and health for the patientPerforms patient triage in person, via telephone and secure messages, utilizing protocols, guidelines, and standardsUtilizes assessment and analysis skills in delivering medical regimens as directed by physicians, advanced practice providers and registered nursesDelegates selected patient care functions to others in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competenceCollaborates with the clinic team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and stewardshipFosters a learning environment for patients, families, and all members of the health care teamAdvocates for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgroundsRequirementsGraduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse programCurrent Licensed Practical Nurse in Washington State or Multistate license endorsement (MLS)Current basic life support certification (BLS)Two years of experience as an LPN - in a clinic setting preferredCurrent Driver's LicenseOur ValuesAs a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration, Kindness and Joy.
