Description We are looking for a meticulous and organized Bookkeeper to join our team in Smithfield, Virginia. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Record and maintain financial transactions with accuracy and attention to detail. u2022 Help with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including timely payments and collections. u2022 Support month-end closing procedures by preparing financial reports and documentation. u2022 Enter large volumes of data into accounting systems efficiently and accurately. u2022 Provide administrative support at the front desk when needed, including answering inquiries and assisting visitors. u2022 Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth financial operations and adherence to company policies. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role. u2022 Proficiency in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR). u2022 Knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. u2022 Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of data entry. u2022 Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
