Job Title: Quality Inspector Job Description The Quality Inspector is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring plant adherence to all processes as required by Plant Regulations. This role is crucial in maintaining food safety measures at the facility and collaborating with production teams to enhance processes as needed. Responsibilities + Pull samples to visually check the quality of the product (not a lab-based role). + Assist on the production line as needed. + Collaborate with the production line to ensure quality and safety regulations are followed. + Liaise with the production manager as necessary. Essential Skills + Experience in inspection and quality control. + Familiarity with a manufacturing environment. + Knowledge of assembly and production processes. + Ability to conduct quality inspections and quality assurance. + General labor and quality check skills. Work Environment The work takes place in a food production facility that manufactures various dry products, including spices and breading. The facility offers two shifts: 1st Shift from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and 2nd Shift from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Des Moines, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $47840.00/yr.
