Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'iu2019s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'iu2019s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit hospital delivers 6,000 babies a year, and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific Region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care. Over 1,400 employees and more than 700 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi'olani. The hospital is home to the Kapi'olani Womenu2019s Center and the Womenu2019s Cancer Center, and offers numerous community programs and services, such as specialty pediatric clinics, the Kapi'olani Child Protection Center and the Sex Abuse Treatment Center. Through the Women's Centers, clients receive health screenings, diagnostic tests and treatment services at our two convenient locations in Honolulu and Aiea. Kapiu2018olani Womenu2019s Centers are the only Ou2018ahu facilities to be named Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence by the American College of Radiology. The Centers rank among the top five percent in the nation. Other areas of health care at the Womenu2019s Center include: bone health and osteoporosis, menopause, ultrasound, womenu2019s counseling and coaching, aesthetics, massage, acupuncture and various educational classes geared toward healthy living. As a Physical Therapist II, you will provide compassionate rehabilitation in the form of physical therapy services and consultation for inpatients and outpatients at medical centers and contract sites. Current Hawaiu2018i Physical Therapy license. Current American Heart Association Heart Saver u2013 AED CPR card. Two (2) years experience, one of which was spent with adults.
