Job Summary Plans and implements academic and behavioral plans for special education students. Serves as student advisor. Works with interdisciplinary team to develop curriculum, manage the milieu and communicate in the psycho-educational environment. Reports to the principal/assistant principal. u2022 Bachelor's Degree u2022 Current CT teaching certification (065) in Special Ed and/or specific curriculum area. u2022 Experience in similar setting preferred. u2022 DMV requirements for transporting students to and from activities and/or to and from school may be required. u2022 Communication and interpersonal skills. u2022 Understanding child development.
