Essential Roles and Responsibilities May Include: + Perform inspections and sampling related to environmental permit requirements. + Prepare compliance reports and other submittals for regulatory agencies + Participate in incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action planning. + Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific environmental programs and policies. + Deliver site-specific training to employees, including orientation, hazard communication, PPE, emergency response, and job-specific topics. + Prepare and maintain required environmental documentation, environmental permits, and compliance reports. + Manage and oversee hazardous waste handling, storage, and disposal in accordance with RCRA and local regulations. + Develop and/or maintain Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans. + Evaluate problems and develop practical solutions to achieve and maintain compliance with environmental regulations.Peer review documents prepared by others for accuracy, completeness, and quality following company Requirements: + Bacheloru2019s degree in environmental, engineering, or other similar degree. + Minimum 10-20 yearsu2019 experience. + Valid driveru2019s license with acceptable violation history. Preferred Certification: + Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. + Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG) or similar professional registration/certification relevant to the type of services and projects being managed + Authorized Project Reviewer status preferred.
